The second node of the European Data Relay System, which will enable near-realtime data transfer to the ground from low-orbiting satellites using cutting-edge laser technology.

The European Robotic Arm (ERA) will work with the new Russian airlock, to transfer small payloads directly from inside to outside the International Space Station. The launch is foreseen for the end of 2018 (date tbc).
