ESA astronaut Alexander Gerst has been living and working on the International Space Station for over five months and taking pictures in his spare time. While his five colleagues were sleeping, Alexander floated through the silent Station capturing the weightless research centre in a new light.
Alexander will return to Earth on 10 November 2014, marking the end of his six-month Blue Dot mission.
