ESA Innovation Prize winners Olmedo and Burillo

At the European Satellite Navigation Competition (ESNC) award ceremony in Munich, 18 October 2010, from left: Thorsten Rudolph (Managing Director of the Application Center for Satellite Navigation Oberpfaffenhofen (AZO), the instigator of ESNC), Luis Burillo, Rafael Olmedo, Ulrike Daniels (Business Development Manager of AZO) and Frank M. Salzgeber (Head of the ESA Technology Transfer Programme Office). Rafael Olmedo and Luis Burillo from the Spanish company INTA are the winners of the ESA Technology Transfer Programme’s Innovation Prize at ESNC 2010. Their proposal is a system that identifies sources of water pollution in narrow streams and water channels; they are also the regional winners for Madrid in Spain.
