On 16 and 17 April, ESA and the French space agency, CNES, will host a hybrid event in Germany to provide information on ‘Digitalisation and Extraordinary Maintenance’ contract opportunities at Europe’s Spaceport.

This page will be updated with further details closer to the event.

In-depth

ESA, in collaboration with CNES, invites space and non-space companies from ESA Member States to support the continued digital modernisation and extraordinary maintenance opportunities at Europe’s Spaceport in French Guiana – also known as the Centre Spatial Guyanais (CSG).

On 16 and 17 April, ESA with CNES will host a hybrid in-person and online event to present a number of these new activities at the spaceport. The in-person segment of the event will be held at ESA’s European Space Operations Centre (ESOC), in Darmstadt, Germany.

The main themes of these opportunities will be the digital transformation (such as 5G data network, CMMS, asset monitoring) and extraordinary maintenance operations (smart grid and HVAC, fire safety system REDI, STAR45 antenna renewal) of the spaceport.

Further to the informative nature of the event:

  • There will be a B2B element, where both online and in-person attendees will be able to connect with each other.
  • There will be the opportunity to benefit from a training course on how to submit bids.

Register for the event
