The Institute of Air and Space Law of the University of Cologne has been acting as the German NPOC since 1989. Prof. Dr. Stephan Hobe, as the Director of the Institute, is responsible for the activities of the German NPOC.

The Institute of Air and Space Law, and in particular its Director as member of the ECSL Board, fully supports the activities of ECSL inter alia by contributing to the Practitioner’s Forum, the Newsletter and the Summer Course on Space Law and Policy. The Institute each year selects students to attend the summer course in its capacity as German NPOC.
