A picture of one of the 12 modules of the mirror assembly of the Wide-field X-ray Telescope (WXT) of Einstein Probe. The grey squares cover up tiny square tubes that guide X-rays towards the CMOS detector inside. The squares are made of 150 nanometres of aluminium and 100 nanometres of Polyimide. They protect the X-ray telescope from optical light pollution.
