ESA’s globally renowned and largest scientific conference, Living Planet Symposium (LPS) will take place on 23–27 May 2022 at the World Conference Centre in Bonn, Germany. The symposium gives the opportunity for discussion with the world’s most eminent Earth Observation scientists, technology experts, industry leaders and New Space champions. This is the place to understand the most about earth science and climate change, and how Earth Observation can help achieve ambitious European and global carbon-neutrality commitments. Numerous experts will be available for media interviews via satellite.

Key speakers: ESA Director General Josef Aschbacher, ESA Earth Observation Director Simonetta Cheli, Germany’s Aerospace Coordinator Anna Christmann, Director General of the German Space Agency Walther Pelzer, ESA Astronaut Luca Parmitano, local host Katja Dörner, Mayor of Bonn, as well as high-level representatives of partner international organisations including the European Commission, Eumetsat, European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts, NASA and more.
