Description of the Cansat mission:
For their secondary mission, the students chose to measure wind speed in different altitudes during the descent of their CanSat. The objective is to send to ground control the wind's velocity (and possibly direction) every second., in order to build a wind speed vs. height profile with as much data per vertical meter as possible. The usual vertical wind profile calls for the wind velocity to be progressively reduced with height, but any "deviation" from this scheme will be detected.
