N° 36–2023: Media advisory for Crew-7 launch with ESA Astronaut Andreas Mogensen

In preparation of the upcoming launch of Crew-7, with ESA astronaut Andreas Mogensen, NASA will host two news conferences on Tuesday, 25 July, at the Johnson Space Center in Houston to highlight the crew mission to the International Space Station.
First news conference is a mission overview with representatives from ESA, NASA and JAXA.
This will be followed with the crew news conference, which is the final media opportunity to speak to the Crew-7 astronauts before they travel to NASA Kennedy for launch. The targeted date for launch is no earlier than Tuesday 15 August.
ESA’s Andreas Mogensen will travel to space for the second time, beginning his mission Huginn. He will be the pilot of SpaceX’s Crew Dragon. Accompanying Andreas is NASA astronaut and Mission Commander Jasmin Moghbeli, JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronaut Satoshi Furukawa and Roscosmos cosmonaut Konstantin Borisov as mission specialists.
Both news conferences will be streamed via esawebtv.esa.int.
Registration
International media without U.S. citizenship wishing to participate in person must apply by 17:00 ET (23:00 CEST) on Wednesday 12 July. Though the deadline has passed, please contact NASA as soon as possible if you wish to attend in person.
For media seeking a remote interview with the crew must apply by 17:00 ET (23:00 CEST) on Friday 21 July.
U.S. media and U.S. citizens representing international media must apply by 17:00 ET (23:00 CEST) on Friday 21 July.
Media must request credentials from the Johnson newsroom at 281-483-5111 or jsccommu@mail.nasa.gov.
Media interested in participating by phone must contact the Johnson newsroom before 09:45 ET (15:45 CEST) the day of the event.
